YWAM’S Mission is to “Know God and Make Him known”. Word of Life has been supporting YWAM Missionaries in both Siem Reap and Phnom Penh, Cambodia as they serve their communities in various ways.
thinkSMALL Philippines
Word of life partners with thinkSMALL and helped to launch it in the Philippines. thinkSMALL’s mission is “Making new, young followers of Jesus to transform nations.” Through local church outreaches they seek to reach children with the gospel and to protect them from trafficking, abuse and drugs.
How did they serve?
Pastor Alex and Debbie Chai and Missionaries Cherry Enriquez and Dulce Delosantos served together in the Philippines through:
• A seminar for Pastoral couples
• Preaching, teaching, and baptism
• thinkSMALL outreaches to a village school, and an impoverished neighborhood.
• Men’s ministry launch at a new church
• Donations of Hygiene items, clothes and food distributed to those in need
Debbie, Cherry, and Dulce then continued onto Cambodia serving through:
• Preaching in various churches and praying for the sick
• Praying with and encouraging the missionaries
• Children and Youth outreaches
• Teaching English
• Casting vision for thinkSMALL to one day start in Cambodia
HOW CAN WE BE PRAYING?
• For the thinkSMALL outreaches in the Philippines to continue to have favor and fruitfulness
• Safe travels and provision and more team members for the outreaches
• Churches to faithfully disciple the children and new believers, who have responded
• That God will raise up leaders to translate materials and start thinkSMALL in Cambodia
• Wisdom for next steps regarding this endeavor
