At Word of Life, we believe that God’s Word teaches Christ-followers to give cheerfully, regularly, and proportionally.

Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:7

We believe giving is a privilege and not a punishment. In our giving, we acknowledge God’s goodness and generosity in our lives. We don’t give because we feel guilty or because someone pressures us to give. We give because we are grateful to Jesus. Giving is an act of worship!

Giving is a way of life, a kingdom habit. It’s not a spur of the moment decision we make as the offering is being collected. We plan and prepare our giving on a regular basis. Stewardship of our finances is an important aspect of our discipleship and requires both budgeting and discipline.

We encourage giving based on a percentage (tithe or 10%) of our income. With this simple, Bibilcal approach, everyone can be responsible for their share without an undue burden on any one individual.

Where does my giving go?

Your gifts support the Word of Life general operating budget: individual ministry budgets, supplies, staff salaries, leadership development, insurance, and building expenses including cleaning, maintenance, and repair.

Additionally, through your giving Word of Life is able to support the work of other ministries locally and abroad: missions, outreach, and special projects.

Thank You for your generosity!
