Heather Petty | Youth Ministry Assistant & Weekend Service Administrator

Heather Petty has joined the Word of Life staff as a Youth Ministry Assistant & Weekend Service Administrator. She will be helping with Collide as Kaleb’s assistant for youth ministry. Heather is married to Mitch and together they have four children: Baileigh, Emily, Jake and Parker. She also has two grandchildren, Tinsley and Gracie. Heather has served on Mission trips, served as a ladies Bible study leader, and served in Kids Ministry. In addition, she is the author of Hello SONshine, a 40-day devotional for women. She also is the founder of Love and SONshine Ministries, which is a non-profit organization that will provide safe, Christian housing for homeless pregnant teens and teen Mama’s in our community (currently in the infancy stages). She loves to write, spend time with family (especially her grandbabies), enjoys spending time outdoors and hiking. If all jobs paid the same she would be a full time grandma and writer and her favorite ice cream flavor is chocolate.
